Product Reviews
    1. Effective means of minimising diffraction by Richard

Sound waves travel along a speaker baffle and then are reflected back to the listener from the edges (known as diffraction). Unless the design has accounted for this and, for example, offset the tweeter or rounded over the baffle edges, the result can be a muddling of the clarity and stereo image. Placed around the tweeter these can help in curing this. Although they seem expensive, the felt used seems more effective than other types I have tried. Worth the money considering the improvement, and they did not seem to make the speaker sound more mellow as some other products do. (Posted on 10/06/2016)

    2. LS3/5A tweeter felt squares by Richard

Sound waves travel along a speaker baffle and then is reflected back to the listener from the edges. This ruins the clarity and stereo image and introduces harshness and listener fatigue. Placed around the tweeter these really help in curing this. Although they seem expensive the felt used seems more effective than other types I have tried. Worth the money considering the improvement. A point to note is that felt absorbs sound so the speaker will sound less bright and more mellow to a small degree. (Posted on 05/02/2016)
