The Falcon Acoustics & RAM Connection
RAM Electronics Ltd (Reference Audio Monitor) was founded in 1974 in Norwich by Vince Jennings and Matthew Therrien. During the 1970s and early 1980s, RAM earned a strong reputation among British audiophiles for its high build quality, musicality, and accurate imaging.

Falcon Acoustics was pleased to contribute to RAM's original success: Falcon founder Malcolm Jones worked closely with RAM on crossover topologies, and supplied all of the crossover networks used in RAM’s historic lineup. Malcolm was actively involved in helping develop the original RAM BBC LS3/5a monitors. In 2011, Falcon Acoustics officially acquired the RAM branding to preserve its archive and design lineage.

To pay tribute to this heritage, Falcon Acoustics revived the brand with the RAM Studio Series. The RAM Studio 10 serves as the compact, 2-way standmount model of the line, designed to echo the classic "RAM British monitor" sound signature while honouring RAM’s traditional engineering and construction principles.
