1. Where are Falcon Acoustics products made?

Our loudspeakers are hand-assembled with meticulous care in Oxford, England. We are committed to upholding the long tradition of British Hi-Fi craftsmanship. Our drive units are also handmade in the UK, and our cabinets are crafted by specialist cabinet makers in Italy to the original BBC specifications.

We are particularly famous for our authentic recreations of the iconic BBC LS3/5A loudspeaker.

What is the BBC LS3/5A?

The LS3/5A is a small studio monitor loudspeaker originally designed by the BBC for use in outside broadcasting vans and control rooms. It's famous for its exceptional midrange clarity and detailed sound. Falcon Acoustics is licensed by the BBC to produce the 15-ohm LS3/5A, and our "Gold Badge" version is widely considered the best production version ever made.

2. What is the difference between the various LS3/5A models?

We offer the classic 15-ohm Gold Badge edition, and sometimes Limited Editions. These feature enhanced cabinets, crossover components and other refinements for even better performance.

3. What other speaker models do you offer?

Besides the LS3/5A, we offer a range of loudspeakers to suit different needs and preferences. Our M Series offers legendary Italian cabinetry and a superb British sound. The F50 gives extraordinary performance for a small bookshelf speaker. We also offer the Q7 "Complete@Home" loudspeaker system for DIY enthusiasts.
