THE B110

Handbuilt in Oxford and following the original specs our founder Malcolm Jones set out in 1967

The B110 Designed by Malcolm Jones

In the  60s the BBC and KEF were investigating the use of plastics and new materials in loudspeaker cones for the first time.

Prior to this paper cones along with paper and fabric surrounds.

The B110 represented an evolutionary step in speaker cone design where plastics like Bextrene were successfully used for the first time. The BBC had been trying to design their own drive units but soon made the decision to use the new B110 designed by Malcolm during his time at KEF.

Falcon Acoustics replicates this product to design documents that Malcolm maticulously detailed at the time in the 60s along with the original reference models he created at the time.
