Restoring a LINN SARA

The Linn Sara is an iconic two-way bookshelf loudspeaker introduced by Linn Products in 1978. Renowned for its dynamic, musical presentation and surprisingly deep bass performance from a compact cabinet, the Sara utilizes an isobaric bass configuration featuring two drive units working in tandem. Its sealed enclosure design allows for placement close to rear walls, ideal for typical living spaces. Despite its high sound quality, the Sara presents a notoriously difficult electrical load to amplifiers, dropping to very low impedances. It remains a classic vintage high-fidelity favorite.
