Seas MCA12RC/P H1186-04 4 ohm Midrange. NoS Classic Seas Midrange. This is the classic Seas Midrange in a 4 ohm version fitted with a phase plug, with a manually coated 4.5" paper cone and mechanically matching low loss natural rubber surround, giving a very smooth midrange response for which this unit is renowned.
The 1” high temperature voice coil is wound on an aluminium voice coil former to ensure a high power handling capacity.
An extremely stiff and stable injection moulded metal basket keeps the critical components in perfect alignment, the large windows in the basket both above and below the spider reducing sound reflection, air flow noise and cavity resonance to a minimum.
