Experience the art of British audio engineering firsthand with a Falcon Acoustics Complete at Home speaker kit. Unlike buying a finished box off a shelf, these kits offer a rare "under the hood" perspective, allowing you to see exactly how the world-renowned Gold Badge crossovers and authentic drive units interact to create that legendary LS3/5a sound signature.
Why Choose a Falcon Kit?
-
Engineering Insight: Gain a deep appreciation for acoustic physics by installing the genuine B110 and T27 drivers—the same units that defined the BBC monitor standard.
-
No-Compromise Cabinets: You’ll work with premium, Italian-made Baltic birch plywood cabinets, meticulously veneered to a furniture-grade finish.
-
The "Built-Not-Bought" Advantage: Enjoy the immense satisfaction of assembly. Most kits are solder-free, including all the tools you need to go from parts to playback in just one evening.
-
High-End Value: By providing the labor yourself, you access the performance of a multi-thousand-pound reference monitor at a fraction of the retail price.
By the time you tighten the last screw, you won't just own a pair of speakers—you’ll understand the heritage and craftsmanship that makes them sing.

The Falcon Acoustics Q7 Design Approach

Larger Enclosure: The Q7 cabinet is about 65mm deeper than a standard LS3/5a. This extra volume allows for an "optimum Q" of 0.7, which is where the name Q7 comes from.
Better Bass: Because of the larger box, it provides roughly 2dB more output at 50Hz than the LS3/5a. It hits harder and feels more "full-bodied".
Modern Touches: While it retains the classic "thin-wall" Baltic birch ply construction, it uses modern magnetic grilles instead of the old-fashioned Velcro/staple method, giving it a cleaner look.

Why choose the Q7?
-
The "Falcon Voice": It retains the famous, mid-range-focused "BBC sound." Vocals are startlingly realistic, and the imaging is holographic, often disappearing into the room.
Ease of Build: The kit comes with pre-built Italian birch ply cabinets. All you have to do is screw in the drivers and the pre-wired Gold Badge crossovers. It's often described as a "Lego-like" experience for audiophiles.
Amplifier Pairing: While 15W can technically drive them, most customers use at least 30–50W of high-quality power (like a Naim Supernait or a good Push-Pull tube amp) to get the best out of the bass.
