The B110
Designed by Malcolm Jones, the original designer of the legendary KEF B110, and the result of eighteen months research by Malcolm Jones and Jerry Bloomfield of Falcon Acoustics. Each unit is hand built and tested in Great Britain
T27
The Falcon T27 is designed to be an exact direct replacement for all KEF T27 SP1032 applications. It features a 19mm treated Mylar diaphragm in a black powder-coated chassis that will exactly fit the original KEF T27 chassis dimensions.
The components used in the construction of the T27 are the same as were used in the original KEF T27. The 19mm diaphragm made especially for Falcon by the original manufacturers. Coatings are identical and adhesives where not identical are modern equivalent or improved formulations.
LS3/5a CROSSOVER 15 OHM GOLD BADGE BBC FL6/23
Falcon Gold Badge LS3/5A crossoversas used in the award-winning Falcon LS3/5a in a specially extended LS3/5a-type cabinet to produce an optimum Q=0.7 system with extra bass compared to the LSA3/5a (+2dB @ 50 Hz)
Falcon Acoustics Gold Badge BBC LS3/5a version features enhanced size BBC Specification Transformer-style inductors with improved saturation and distortion characteristics, also giving additional bass enhancement. Specially developed Falcon capacitors using graded polypropylene film with a very similar sonic signature to the polycarbonate film capacitors used in the Kingswood Warren Limited Edition are deployed throughout.
These two key components, plus ultra-low inductance resistors, all mounted on a new Falcon-designed multi-layer FL6/23 printed circuit board, all hand made to BBC/Falcon specification in the UK/EU and hand-assembled by Falcon in the UK, mean the Gold Badge BBC FL6/23 LS3/5a Crossovers are a major upgrade and result in a quantum leap in sonic capabilities.
