Seas CC17RC/P H0868-08 Woofer - Prestige Series

Seas CC17RC/P H0868-08 Woofer is a high power Seas Woofer with a 6.5" paper cone, Phase Plug and High Loss Rubber Surround giving a very smooth and extended response.

The phase plug reduces compression due to temperature variations in the voice coil, eliminates resonances that would occur in the volume between the dust cap and the pole piece and increases the long term power handling capacity. The low loss rubber quality will stay stable within a wide temperature range, making this unit suitable for use in cars. A special treatment of the cone produces a well behaved roll off characteristic and reduces potential resonance problems.

An extremely stiff and stable injection moulded metal basket keeps the critical components in perfect alignment, the large windows in the basket both above and below the spider reducing sound reflection, air flow noise and cavity resonance to a minimum.
