LS3/5a style cabinet FULL kit C/W CROSSOVERS -all parts required to make 2 complete LS3/5a cabinets. Precision cut and made in Great Britain to BBC Specification. Buying the complete kit saves 10% on total parts cost. Please select crossover type required from the drop-down menu ( normally supplied with ASSEMBLED Falcon 23aB type).

As the B110 response changed during its production span there were changes in the crossover (C5/R2) to compensate (see LS3/5a Crossover History). We can supply the crossovers with the required values if you let us know on ordering the manufacture date of your B110 units through the Date B110’s Made box. If you leave this blank we will supply to May 1982 onwards specification.

This LS3/5a complete cabinet kit contains the following parts:

LS3/5a style cabinet kits, 2 Crossovers as selected, 2 Falcon terminal sets (BiWire sets with 23ab BiWire), 1 set ( 4 sheets differing thickness as per BBC specification) LS3/5a Acoustic Damping Foam, 0.5m black acoustically transparent grille cloth, 2m 6mm & 2m 9mm LS3/5a baffle sealing strip, Dedshete, 1m Velcro, 1m T27 felt strips to BBC specification and KEF B110 sealing strip (made especially for Falcon Acoustics by the original British suppliers to full BBC Specification), 2 LS3/5a bolt sets and 2m 079/.2 OFC cable.

The cabinet kit is designed and pre-drilled for KEF B110 and KEF T27. Each section is hand-finished by British craftsman. Easy to assemble with precision-cut rebated corners, does not require specialist assembly tools. All you will need is PVA glue, drill, Posidrive screw-driver and some masking tape. A staple gun is helpful. Made in 12mm and 9.5mm Baltic Birch ply with 5 layer birch ply grille. Beech battens all supplied, chamfered front batten edge sections for easy B110 mounting. All holes countersunk for nuts bolts and screws. Marked but not drilled for LS3/5a PCB crossover mounting if required ( no extra holes if you use Falcon networks). Full instructions supplied. Designed for finishing with veneer or spray painting after final sanding/preparation.

These quality cabinet kits are only supplied in pairs; drive units not supplied.
