LS3/5a Rogers AB1 style subwoofer kit. This Limited Edition kit comprises 2 enclosures and all parts required (excluding drivers e.g KEF B110 SP1003) to make a fully functional handed pair of LS3/5a subwoofers.

This easy assembly kit is made of 15mm graded Medite MDF (not plywood) as in the original specification, and contains a handed pair of cabinets suitable for veneering or painting with profiled plinth stands, port tubes, improved/upgraded crossover components/PCB (Electrolytic or Solen Audio Grade Polypropylene Capacitors) with uprated inductors to avoid saturation problems, 4 sets of Falcon terminals, 1m B110 sealing strip, rear panel gasket, 079 OFC cable, dedshete, acoustic foam, and all screws, mounting screws and T-nuts. Full instructions including port tuning for different B110 versions e.g B110 SP1003 supplied.

Crossover capacitor types can be selected from standard 100V Electrolytic c/w Solen bridging cap, or full sets of Solen Polypropylene or ClarityCap ESA 250V Capacitors. Solen and ClarityCap crossovers are hard wire only as the PCB is designed for electrolytic types.

The cabinet kit is designed and pre-drilled for KEF B110, other drivers with similar chassis configuration will fit (but have not been tested). Each section is hand-finished by British craftsmen, with easy to assemble precision-cut rebated and mitred corners, and does not require specialist assembly tools. All you will need is PVA glue, mastic, Posidrive screw-driver, soldering iron and some masking tape. All rear panel holes pre-countersunk for screws (supplied). Pre-drilled for supplied Falcon Terminal mounting. Designed for finishing with veneer or spray painting after final sanding/preparation. Full instructions supplied.
